Happy Tuesday! I created this fun layout and pocket page combo to go right into my project life album. I haven’t done a traditional layout for years and while this is actually a hybrid layout, it is a layout none the less. I used “The Love List” and “Better Together” from One Little Bird for my spread. I designed both the layout and pocket page in Photoshop first and then printed and cut everything out.
The pink “SUN” and Gold Heart are from Studio Calico and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. I printed the lyrics from Ellie Goulding’s “Love me Like you do” and stuck them under the vellum “Love” title. Then I hand stitched the gold thread to secure the vellum on. I can’t operate a sewing machine to save my life, so hand stitching it is for me. I just sit in front of the TV and stitch away. Helps keep me awake…I always fall asleep watching TV. Anyone else?
These photos are from a date night my hubby and I took. We had some time to kill before our movie, so we took a bunch of silly selfies in the car. I will treasure these photos for ever as I don’t have very many photos of us together and they are just fun. I used my Cordless Soldering tool to fuze my sequins page shut…again, no machine stitching for this girl. The little clear gold glitter heart is from my shop and can be found here.
And that is about it! Thanks for stopping by!
Just a quick post to share some of my pages for February.
This is for the challenge I am hosting over on the Paper Issues Facebook page. I went with a music theme. It is not too late to enter the challenge thru their page. You have until March 29th.
I used the “On the Playlist” from my new “On the…” set along with circle photos to float in the pockets and vellum to label all of our top 40 favorites.
A few music die cuts and some sequins and the page is done! I love how it turned out and am going to do the same on the back side with our favorite shows.
This spread is from the first couple of weeks of February. I used bits from the February and March Studio Calico kits, an Ampersand from my store and the aqua heart is from Ali Edwards.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hello! Becky here today sharing a new layout of my son after his first Wrestling Tournament! I am using the new Kaisercraft’s Line, Shine Bright, and the Twinkling Stars enamel set. I love how perfectly the silver stars coordinate with this black, yellow and grey line!
I have to admit that these silver stars set is my favorite from the February release! They are absolute perfection!
Thank you so much for taking a look today! Remember to use the code “Rebmnmny,” for 10% off your entire order from the Color Cast Designs Shop!
Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I am sharing an insert that I did for my Project Life® album based on Mandy’s #thisweek prompt, “Morning Routine”. I am so excited about her prompts and am looking forward to using them as a starting off point to document some things that I would not think of on my own. Check out her blog and play along too! I adore her blog, photography, Instagram, Project Life® and sweet heart.
I decided to document my Sunday morning routine. I meal plan and grocery shop every Sunday morning. Every other week, when the girls are with us, I take one of them with me and we get to have some one on one time. The opposite weeks, it is just me and I look forward to that alone time too.
I always stop at Starbucks and pick up a coffee and breakfast. The girls really love this part as much as I do. I like the tradition of this and love that they will remember spending this time with me on Sunday’s when they are at our house. I used the awesome free digital files that Mandy has on her site from Digital Design Essentials to make my insert. I wanted to stick with black, white, grey and a bit of pink, so I made a few of my own Journaling cards with the files.
I added the “I like Big Cups…” from my Coffee Lover’s set, stamped some of Kellie’s stamps on vellum, made a sequin pocket and called it good.
I find that as of lately, I am obsessed with making a checkerboard pattern with my journaling cards and photos. I love the clean lines it provides.
Have a great weekend!
I am looking to add to my current Design Team! The call is for papercrafters, scrapbookers, pocket scrapbookers, and card maker’s. It is open Internationally. Please email me if you have any other questions.
