Good Morning! I realized that it had been awhile since I have shared any of my Project Life® Pages on my Blog, so I thought that I would write up a quick blog post with just photos of some of my latest pages.
All of the spreads below were done using One Little Bird’s collections over at The Lilypad . I just can’t get enough of her awesome designs!
I’ll share some other pages next week! Don’t want to share too many at one time.
Have a great weekend!
Happy Thursday morning! Today I have added 3 brand new products to the store, several new colors of existing products and more inventory to several summer themed sets that were sold out.
I know that 4th of July has come and gone for my American friends, but if you haven’t documented it yet, you might want to pick up the “4th of July” set to add to your documentation.
Color Coordinating with the 4th of July set is “Stars, No Stripes“. This set is great for so much more than just documenting the 4th of July. 4 of the Circles consist of 3 pieces each (star, circle with star cut out and outer ring) making them fun to mix and match. Also included are a few smaller stars with outlines and solids to mix and match. The 2 and 3 tone look is so fun! Add in that some of the pieces are cut from mirrored acrylic and you have one fun set!
Next up is the “Currently” set. This set is a mix of wood veneer, green glass acrylic, white acrylic and teal circles that are etched down to white (my personal favorite pieces). The white “Right Now” is cut from a brand new matte white acrylic and is a much more crisp white than the glossy. I kind of love it lots! I included some traditional “currently” sentiments, but also added in a few new ones; devouring, despising, struggling and celebrating.
In addition to these 3 new sets, I have added Twinkling Stars in Green Glass to coordinate with the “Currently” set and just because it is a new color in the shop and oh-so-pretty!
I have also added the Pink Mirror, Blue Mirror and Silver Mirror to my line up of “A is for Alphabet colors.”
Also, back in limited quantities, I have added inventory to the Happy Trails Triangles, Happy Trails Expressions, Here and Now and Summer Love sets.
Hope that you all have a fabulous weekend!
Hi everyone, Mandy here today sharing one of my favorite recent 6×8 Project Life layouts…
I did traditional scrapbooking for about ten years on and off before coming across the pocket page system in 2013. One of the things I loved most about the system was that it could be simple, elegant, and still creative.
I work a “day job”, run a photography business, serve on a few creative teams, and recently launched a new blog/shop so I’m always looking for ways to simplify my creative process while still creating layouts that are visually appealing and color coordinated.
A few ways I’ve done that is to pre-print my photos, choose journal cards that match well with my photos, and keep the embellishment process simple.
The “happy place” wood veneer from the Here and Now set was an item I knew I wanted to serve as a focal point so for this layout, I set it aside, found photos that told the story of my happy place and picked out some cards to match. This layout took me all of ten minutes to make from start to finish and its one of my favorites to date!
Hello everyone, Barbara here to share two Project Life® spreads that I made featuring the June Releases. I fell in LOVE with the veneer Here and Now set so it got a lot of use on this spread. I also added in pieces from the Solstice set because blue and yellow is my absolute favorite summer color combo. I kept a lot of the cards very simple and just added in printed text that paired with the veneer or the acrylic piece. I’m loving the new mirrored and iridescent acrylic pieces and made sure to find a spot for those on the spread.
Here you can see some of the slots on the left side a bit closer. I love pairing a few of the acrylic pieces to create my title cards, which I typically like to keep super clean and white. I think it just blends better and I don’t really want the focus on the date card I want the focus to be on the photos. It always nice to have a bit of an accent that blends well with the spread so I always leave this card last so I can make sure it matches up well. The Hells Yes veneer comes from the Here and Now add ons.
Here you can see a bit of that iridescent Summer up close, it really is amazing in person, once of my absolute favorite new materials Jessica has added.
My second layout was a half layout that is the left hand side to the Easter spread I shared awhile ago. It only covers 4 days so it’s super simple. On this spread I used a few more of the new Here and Now veneer and the new gold glitter Right Now but also incorporated some of the previous releases as well. Pieces from Coffee Lovers and Basically Basics – Gold Glitter.
This title card is one of my new favorites, I’m obsessed with white on white embossing lately so having the two white areas flanking the gold glitter Right Now makes me happy.
I also love the little rainbow of stars, these stars are from the Confetti Stars that are sold by the tablespoon, I happened to have all that I needed and I love that little accent.
I hope you are enjoying your products from the June release and I hope you have a great time playing with all that you have purchased.
See you soon
Hello Everyone! Jen here posting how I used Color Cast Designs “Yes Please” and “Here and Now” sets on last year’s 4th of July Project Life pages.
I think one of my favorite cards, yet most simplest ones, is the Go See Do card shown below. You don’t need anything more than the acrylic. The fonts are perfect! And that transparent charcoal color is dreamy! I used my method of stretching glue dots across the edge of the acrylic so it wouldn’t show through, to adhere the embellishment. The entire “Yes Please” set is SO good! You may find yourself hoarding them!
The “On Fleek” wood veneer is from the “Here and Now” set. Fourteen wood veneers for $3.99??? Whaaaat? The phrases are so fun and versatile! Selfie Queen? My Everyday? Happy Place? Those are just a few of the veneers in this super cool set.
Hope this inspires you to get crafting! Putting your memories in books doesn’t have to be complicated! Thanks for looking! -Jen
Hi There, it’s Becky here today sharing a boy themed layout of my kiddo and our 70 lb. “puppy,” Jaxson, hanging out on the couch and geeking out with video games; a fan favorite in our house for the kids and the bane of my existence, LOL! Jaxson absolutely adores Connor and wants to be every where that Connor is! As sweet as it is, sometimes Connor wants Jaxson to take a hike — especially when Jaxson wants to give kisses when Connor is trying to play his games!
For this layout I used the Echo Park Game On! line and the Yes Please set. I love the size of the smoke grey acrylic sentiments in this set because they are so perfect for titles!
Here is an up close photo of the smoke grey acrylic, as you can see it is opaque which makes me love this color even more!
I love that I can break up the Color Cast Designs sets, like the Yes Please set, for multiple projects! These embellishments are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways!
Be sure to stop by the Color Cast Designs shop and use the code “becky” for 10% off your entire order!

Hey there, it’s me again, Kathleen. Today I have another mix & match your Colorcast Designs products blogpost for you! (See the first one here)
On this layout you can find pieces from six different collections/sets!
The circle wood veneer, the coffee cup and the “coffee lover” phrase are all from the Coffee Lovers set (which is the perfect set for me!! :D). The yellow acrylic star is from the Summer Love release, the #yummy wood veneer piece is from the Foodie set and the #forreal wood veneer piece from the #Hashtagit release. Then I also added a white acrylic conversation heart and a golden ampersand!
I think when you look at this page, you wouldn’t notice that there were six different collections on there because they go so well together! And that’s what I love about scrapbooking products, when I can mix and match them the way I want!
I hope I inspired you to take out all your Colorcast Designs products and mix and match them together on a single project! 🙂
