Hi there friends! Happy Friday!!! It has been a crazy busy week at my house, so I am looking forward to a weekend that includes no real plans. What are you all up to?
I know, it has been a long time. I am so sorry for that. My blog was kind of abandoned. I am back and hoping to post at least a few times a month with Design Team inspiration and other little bits of goodness.
With that said, I am going to start today’s post with some amazing projects done by the Color Cast Designs Design Team with the October releases and follow up with a few projects from September’s release that I did not get to share.
October is a big month of releases as it includes; Halloween, Thanksgiving and December products (My Remember December collection). So, the Design Team had a lot of choices of what to play with for their first projects.
I hope that you enjoy this eye candy as much as I do. I have an amazing team and am so lucky to have them all!

I am going to group all layouts using the Remember December collection together as many of these projects have a mix of more than one set. I just really love them all!!
And finally a few projects that carried over from the September release:
Gah, lots of gorgeousness to drool over, yes?!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!
HI Everyone! Happy St. Patrick’s Day. I have a new release live in the shop today and wanted to share some awesome inspiration from the design team using these new products. And, I even did my own project to share this month!

Barbara did a gorgeous scrapbook page too!
Jennifer Lake did an amazing sprapbook page too!
Becky did a fabulous Pocket Page spread.
And a Pocket Page spread by me!
I love them all so much! I have such a talented team. I will be back with their additional projects later this month. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
I got weeks 4 and 5 done over the past few days! This is just a quick with little words and just photos. Today was a new release for the shop, so I am a bit tired!
Here is week 4:
And here is Week 5

Today, I am sharing the start of a project that I am doing all about me. I want my kids to have something to look back on so that they can know more about their Mom. So much is documented about them and so little about myself and my hubby. Who knows, maybe I will make an album all about him too if he will let me! I am turning 40 in just a few months and have made some goals towards a better, healthier me. So…I thought perfect, I will combine the two into a mini album. This album concept is inspired by my best Aussie friend, Kellie Winnell and her creation of “Project My Life”. I hope that she doesn’t mind that I am stealing her project title for mine too.
I made some album covers on our laser and backed the cut out hearts with some patterned papers from Sahlin Studio “Create” line. I have 2 inch rings on it now, but the beauty of album covers is that I can pretty much make this album as big and chunky as I want it to be. The inside has a variety of 6×8 page protectors and the monthly dividers from Ali Edwards One Little Word kit.
And here is my first spread. All about starting to strive for a Better Me. I used Sahlin Studio’s new release, “Love Your Body” and some of the bits and pieces from “Better Me” set available in my shop. These 2 lines were made for each other!!
And here is what it looks like in my album.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that you will follow along on my journey to a better me in my Project My Life album!
I’m back again for a #pocketpagethursday – I am really loving how this challenge is keeping me accountable. Are you joining in?
Here is my week 3
And that is all for today!

Hi Everyone, I have some gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team on this Thursday to go along with the new releases that came to the store today. These girls inspire me so much…I am so blessed to have them on my team.
And I used the “Adore You” heart on my Week 2 spread:
Have a wonderful day!
Kellie, from Give a Girl a Blog & Kellie Stamps, and I have both decided to have a goal of sharing our Project Life spreads every Thursday through out 2016 on our blogs. We are calling this “Pocket Page Thursday” and using #pocketpagethursday on social media if you want to join in and share.
Up this first Thursday of sharing for me is Week 1 of my 2016 album. Next Thursday, I will have Weeks 2&3 up….hopefully, as that will have me on track to stay caught up this year.

Happy Thursday Everyone! I am having some technical issues with my Newsletter, so I am sending this as a blog post in the meantime. It is the 3rd Thursday of the month and that means that I have some new releases for you! My next newsletter (Beginning of October), will have some awesome inspiration from the Design Team.
Let’s get started with “Crisp Air“. This is a fun fall set made from maple wood veneer and several different acrylics. Next up is “Harvest“. This is the last set of the seasons sets (Frozen, Bloom and Solstice) for 2015. I hope that you all have enjoyed this series of sets as much as I enjoyed creating them! Fall is my personal favorite season, so I can’t wait to go on some adventures and use these myself!
I have decided to add some simple shapes each month to coordinate with that months releases. This month, I have “Giant Ampersands” and several sets of Twinkling Stars and Confetii stars. I am hoping that you all will love these add ons!
Are you a book lover? So am I! I can’t believe it has taken me so long to come out with a book set! This set, “Eat, Sleep, Read” is full of fun bits and pieces for every book lover! If you love the “Star Rating”, be sure to grab a set of extras (“Rate It!“) to go with your “Eat, Sleep, Read” set! Think of all of the possibilities of what you could rate beyond books!
And last but not least, my wood veneer only set and add on! “Yes, No, Maybe” is a set of wood veneer half circles, perfect to staple to the edge of a photo, pocket card, or scrapbook layout.Don’t forget to grab the set and the add on (“Hell No and Hell Yes”) to get all of the half circles!
And finally, a gift for my subscribers! Enter the code “SEPTNEWS” at check out and receive a grab bag of Color Cast Design goodies with your order! Note: You will not see anything after entering the code, it just sends me a message so I know to include the grab bag.
There is a New Issue over at the Paper Issues Blog and Color Cast Designs is sponsoring it. I am so excited!!! So fun to see how some of the Paper Issues Design Team used some Color Cast Designs products on their pages.

Thank you so much to Paper Issues for asking me to be a sponsor!
Hey there, it’s me again, Kathleen. Today I have another mix & match your Colorcast Designs products blogpost for you! (See the first one here)
On this layout you can find pieces from six different collections/sets!
The circle wood veneer, the coffee cup and the “coffee lover” phrase are all from the Coffee Lovers set (which is the perfect set for me!! :D). The yellow acrylic star is from the Summer Love release, the #yummy wood veneer piece is from the Foodie set and the #forreal wood veneer piece from the #Hashtagit release. Then I also added a white acrylic conversation heart and a golden ampersand!
I think when you look at this page, you wouldn’t notice that there were six different collections on there because they go so well together! And that’s what I love about scrapbooking products, when I can mix and match them the way I want!
I hope I inspired you to take out all your Colorcast Designs products and mix and match them together on a single project! 🙂
