Hi there friends! Happy Friday!!! It has been a crazy busy week at my house, so I am looking forward to a weekend that includes no real plans. What are you all up to?
I know, it has been a long time. I am so sorry for that. My blog was kind of abandoned. I am back and hoping to post at least a few times a month with Design Team inspiration and other little bits of goodness.
With that said, I am going to start today’s post with some amazing projects done by the Color Cast Designs Design Team with the October releases and follow up with a few projects from September’s release that I did not get to share.
October is a big month of releases as it includes; Halloween, Thanksgiving and December products (My Remember December collection). So, the Design Team had a lot of choices of what to play with for their first projects.
I hope that you enjoy this eye candy as much as I do. I have an amazing team and am so lucky to have them all!

October is my Favorite set

I am going to group all layouts using the Remember December collection together as many of these projects have a mix of more than one set. I just really love them all!!
And finally a few projects that carried over from the September release:
Gah, lots of gorgeousness to drool over, yes?!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!
I’m back again for a #pocketpagethursday – I am really loving how this challenge is keeping me accountable. Are you joining in?
Here is my week 3
And that is all for today!
Supplies: Embellishments from the Color Cast Design shop | Journal Cards from In a Creative Bubble | Number Stamps from Kellie Stamps
I have week 2 of my 2016 Project Life to share with you today for Pocket Page Thursday. I’m hoping to fill in some of the missing gaps in my 2015 album this weekend and will share those next week.
And that is it for today! Are you sharing your pages? Tell me where in the comments so that I can see them!
Supplies: Shine Bright collection from Sahlin Studio | Stars and Wood Veneer from the Color Cast Designs shop
Kellie, from Give a Girl a Blog & Kellie Stamps, and I have both decided to have a goal of sharing our Project Life spreads every Thursday through out 2016 on our blogs. We are calling this “Pocket Page Thursday” and using #pocketpagethursday on social media if you want to join in and share.
Happy Wednesday! I did this insert from my Project Life album as a letter to my kids using the brand new Postscript line from One Little Bird. I adore the line so much, Peppermint did an awesome job of making some of my favorite colors appear in this line! Perfect for writing a love note to my kids. These photos of them are a few years old, but I love them so much that I decided to use them for the insert. Who said everything in your 2015 album had to actually be from 2015? The words are, just not the photos. I am ok with that.
My love for sequins continues on this pocket made from the vellum in the Postscript kit (actually printed on vellum). I also printed out some of the P.S. I love you paper and punched some hearts out of it. Haven’t used my punches in a while and I kind of love how it turned out!
I used my Silhouette to cut out the “just a note” and the pink “hearts” and added glossy accents over them after attaching them to my pocket pages to give them a pop of shine.
And here is a close up of the letter that I wrote my kiddos. I hope that they treasure these pages as much as I treasure making them.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope that you all have a wonderful rest of your week!
Happy Tuesday! I created this fun layout and pocket page combo to go right into my project life album. I haven’t done a traditional layout for years and while this is actually a hybrid layout, it is a layout none the less. I used “The Love List” and “Better Together” from One Little Bird for my spread. I designed both the layout and pocket page in Photoshop first and then printed and cut everything out.
The pink “SUN” and Gold Heart are from Studio Calico and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. I printed the lyrics from Ellie Goulding’s “Love me Like you do” and stuck them under the vellum “Love” title. Then I hand stitched the gold thread to secure the vellum on. I can’t operate a sewing machine to save my life, so hand stitching it is for me. I just sit in front of the TV and stitch away. Helps keep me awake…I always fall asleep watching TV. Anyone else?
These photos are from a date night my hubby and I took. We had some time to kill before our movie, so we took a bunch of silly selfies in the car. I will treasure these photos for ever as I don’t have very many photos of us together and they are just fun. I used my Cordless Soldering tool to fuze my sequins page shut…again, no machine stitching for this girl. The little clear gold glitter heart is from my shop and can be found here.
And that is about it! Thanks for stopping by!
