October Design Team Inspiration

Hi there friends! Happy Friday!!! It has been a crazy busy week at my house, so I am looking forward to a weekend that includes no real plans. What are you all up to?

I know, it has been a long time. I am so sorry for that. My blog was kind of abandoned. I am back and hoping to post at least a few times a month with Design Team inspiration and other little bits of goodness.

With that said, I am going to start today’s post with some amazing projects done by the Color Cast Designs Design Team with the October releases and follow up with a few projects from September’s release that I did not get to share.

October is a big month of releases as it includes; Halloween, Thanksgiving and December products (My Remember December collection). So, the Design Team had a lot of choices of what to play with for their first projects.

I hope that you enjoy this eye candy as much as I do. I have an amazing team and am so lucky to have them all!

I am going to group all layouts using the Remember December collection together as many of these projects have a mix of more than one set. I just really love them all!!

“Currently” Mini Album

Hey y’all, it’s Kathleen here, sharing my first blog post as a Creative Team member with you! I’m really happy about having the chance to work with Jessica’s beautiful designs! I’ve always been a huge fan of wood veneer pieces and I can never get enough of them (especially because they are relatively small, so you can collect tons of them without taking up too much space :D).

Currently_Colorcast_Designs_Scrapbooking_MiniAlbum_ScatteredConfetti_1When I saw the “On the…” wood veneer circle set in the shop, I knew I had to get those! I had an idea in my mind right when I saw them, and that’s what I’m going to show you today.

I decided to make a really easy and quick little mini album with them, documenting some of the things I currently like/read/do/eat/watch/listen to etc.

I kept the album quite simple: I made a cover that I only added the title and some enamel dots to. Then I added in two pages for each section (On the bookshelf/On the calendar…), the first one with the wood veneer circle and the second one with my journaling on it. To have some variation in the album, I used different ways of writing down the different lists.

Currently_Colorcast_Designs_Scrapbooking_MiniAlbum_ScatteredConfetti_12.2Psst..did you see the other cute wood veneer piece that sneaked in to my album on the last page? That “yum” phrase is from the current “Foodie” set (which of course I also had to have!).

I absolutely loved this quick & easy project! And I think it’s so much fun to look back months or even years later on lists like these and see what you were into at that time! 🙂

So, I hope I could give you some idea for how to use your Colorcast Design products! 🙂
