Good Morning! I realized that it had been awhile since I have shared any of my Project Life® Pages on my Blog, so I thought that I would write up a quick blog post with just photos of some of my latest pages.
All of the spreads below were done using One Little Bird’s collections over at The Lilypad . I just can’t get enough of her awesome designs!
I’ll share some other pages next week! Don’t want to share too many at one time.
Have a great weekend!
Happy Wednesday! I am sorry about the blog hiatus. No other excuse than life has been super busy!
Today I am sharing week 22 of Project Life®. I am still all over the place on my Project Life. I started the year doing monthly and that wasn’t working so I switched back to weekly and I am not loving that now. I am really going to sit and think this thru. What is your approach? My 2015 album is going to be fun for future generations…it is going to be all over the place. And I am ok with that!
So here is week 22…I did this spread for the One Little Bird creative team with her new Frolic line. I adore it! Such beautiful colors and sayings.
I also used my fuse to make the upper right pocket with the 2 triangles and wood veneer stars. For me, the fuse is taking a bit to get down. I am either not letting it get hot enough or it is too hot. Practice makes perfect! I went thru 3 page protectors “practicing” on this spread. Opps!
I used a few bits from the Ali Edwards Story kits and some of my new Acrylic ABC’S on this side. And can I just point out that amazingly cute puppy (yes, I said puppy). That is my nephew doggie, Lincoln. He is one big ball of love!!!
That is all! I hope you enjoyed my spread. Have a great rest of your week!
Happy Wednesday! I did this insert from my Project Life album as a letter to my kids using the brand new Postscript line from One Little Bird. I adore the line so much, Peppermint did an awesome job of making some of my favorite colors appear in this line! Perfect for writing a love note to my kids. These photos of them are a few years old, but I love them so much that I decided to use them for the insert. Who said everything in your 2015 album had to actually be from 2015? The words are, just not the photos. I am ok with that.
My love for sequins continues on this pocket made from the vellum in the Postscript kit (actually printed on vellum). I also printed out some of the P.S. I love you paper and punched some hearts out of it. Haven’t used my punches in a while and I kind of love how it turned out!
I used my Silhouette to cut out the “just a note” and the pink “hearts” and added glossy accents over them after attaching them to my pocket pages to give them a pop of shine.
And here is a close up of the letter that I wrote my kiddos. I hope that they treasure these pages as much as I treasure making them.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope that you all have a wonderful rest of your week!
Happy Tuesday! I created this fun layout and pocket page combo to go right into my project life album. I haven’t done a traditional layout for years and while this is actually a hybrid layout, it is a layout none the less. I used “The Love List” and “Better Together” from One Little Bird for my spread. I designed both the layout and pocket page in Photoshop first and then printed and cut everything out.
The pink “SUN” and Gold Heart are from Studio Calico and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. I printed the lyrics from Ellie Goulding’s “Love me Like you do” and stuck them under the vellum “Love” title. Then I hand stitched the gold thread to secure the vellum on. I can’t operate a sewing machine to save my life, so hand stitching it is for me. I just sit in front of the TV and stitch away. Helps keep me awake…I always fall asleep watching TV. Anyone else?
These photos are from a date night my hubby and I took. We had some time to kill before our movie, so we took a bunch of silly selfies in the car. I will treasure these photos for ever as I don’t have very many photos of us together and they are just fun. I used my Cordless Soldering tool to fuze my sequins page shut…again, no machine stitching for this girl. The little clear gold glitter heart is from my shop and can be found here.
And that is about it! Thanks for stopping by!
